I'm reading David Hawkins "Letting Go," and he breaks apart the relationship between desire and creation so clearly and helpfully.
Desire is the energetic gap between you and a thing. It's a lower frequency emotional state that reinforces the not-having of that thing. The new car. A new relationship. A healthy, lean body. The glamour of being known.
Creating, or manifestation, occurs when you can separate the energy of lack form the thing it's self.
For example, "That new car is just a car, but I recognize the attachment I'm creating by not having it. This feeling is not the car itself, but the energy I'm putting out into the Universe about this car."
This is a natural case of gimmies, in it's first, natural state.
The new pattern though, is to ALLOW this feeling of desire to run it's course. Fully feel the longing of wanting this change, and all that it would touch. This allowance is infact surrendering to the very human part of you.
As you allow, the feeling diminishes, and you achieve a neutrality that is necessary for manifestation.
From this neutrality, you create. Write, meditate, contemplate, visualize, or whatever method works for you. Feel the thing in it's detail, and how it exists in your life. Allow this to fuel the gratitude of this thing in your life.
Then, let go. hahah
I'm loving this David Hawkins book, and I recommend to anyone who wonders, "how the heck do I let go?"

Gosh, at first when I started to read this I got a little triggered because I love desire at its most primal state. I love feeling the energy of being excited and wanting something new in my life. But as I read on and it stated to actually feel that, it makes sense. When I do move through it, the charge diminishes, and there's more freedom. So, ultimately, this makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏼
